WHAT'S OWEN SEEDING IN HIS GARDEN THIS YEAR?!
Owen picked up his seeds at the store on April 25. He got corn, peas, purple carrots, pumpkins, rutabaga, sunflowers and watercress. At school, he had started a few plants that he’s repotted and moved into the greenhouse. He is also looking after cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, broccoli and cabbage that gramma started and brought over to the greenhouse.
Garden Update - July 2022
Owen fenced off a portion of garden for himself.
The garden went in late this year and he inherited the very weedy area under an apple tree.
He has carrots, lettuce, beets, beans, tomatoes, and peppers.
Owen and his brother are also in charge of the potatoes.
He’s trying to finish weeding his garden and plans to water it, then mulch with straw, before going to swimming lessons.
